Here you can see which projects are currently looking for more people or submit an expression of interest. New members are usually added at the beginning of each school year, but spots may also become available later during the project. Read more about each project and apply for positions through the forms.

The Board
Being a board member is the most important role you can have in FIA. Here, you work in a small team to ensure that FIA continues to thrive. We organize events, seek sponsors to fund our projects, maintain our lab space, and manage everything else that happens around FIA. Without a board, FIA wouldn’t exist. If you want to contribute to all our projects, you should submit an expression of interest to join the board!

SeeGoals
Would you like to compete in robocup, the robotics world championship? Do you want to develop, design and build soccer robots from the ground up? Does company events and working in a team of around 30 people sound exciting?
Then apply to SeeGoals!

RoboCup Junior Sweden
This is our oldest surviving project—a super exciting competition that we have been organizing for over ten years, where young people from all over the country compete in various robot-related challenges.
Are you interested in leading and organizing next year’s RoboCup Junior Sweden?
The competition takes place in the spring, but the planning usually begins in the fall. Throughout the project, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new and exciting people, companies, and much more.
We are looking for someone who is engaged, flexible, and eager to be part of student life beyond the sections. Organizing the competition is what the team makes of it, so make it the highlight of the year!
Applications will be open until the end of Nolle-P, but act fast and APPLY NOW!

Battle Bots
Battle Bots is all about teams of 1-5 people building their own combat robot to compete and be the last one standing in the arena. Within FIA, we have multiple teams participating in the competition—some have already competed and secured podium finishes, while others have yet to test their wings.
Or start a new project!
Do you have an idea for a new project? At FIA, we are passionate about student-driven projects and are more than happy to help you get started. We’ll introduce you to the lab, make sure you kick things off smoothly, and give you a unique place in FIA’s history. Our projects don’t have to be large with dozens of members—it’s perfectly fine to just want to build something small with your group of friends. Check out our previous projects for inspiration!
